Crate and Barrel Non-Furniture Return/Exchange Policy

They will take back and exchange items that aren’t furniture if:

  • Items that aren’t furniture can be returned within 90 days of the customer getting them.
  • There is a valid proof of purchase (see below).
  • Items that aren’t furniture are returned in good shape—unused and unwashed

If you find that an item was made wrong or was damaged during shipping, you can return or exchange it as long as you have proof of purchase. You can only get the same item in exchange without proof of purchase.

They can’t take anything back or exchange it for something else without proof of purchase.

Items must be returned to the store where they were bought or sent back by mail (if the item was ordered online or by phone and received by mail). Purchases made outside the United States can only be returned to where they were made.

Non-Returnable Items

Products sold as “final sales” can’t be returned, exchanged, or fixed. You can’t return or exchange plants that are still alive.

Proof of Purchase for Eligible Items

Proof of purchase is needed to get the right exchange, credit, or refund for eligible items and any taxes that are supposed to be refunded according to state law. they will accept the following as proof of purchase for your convenience:

  • With a Gift Receipt or Gift Packing Slip, a Shop Card will refund the item’s price.
  • When the Gift Registry Number is shown without proof of purchase, a Shop Card will be given in the amount of the item’s current selling price.

Please note: Shop Cards, Gift Cards, and eGift Cards can be used to buy things at Crate and Barrel and CB2. Unless the law says otherwise, they can’t be redeemed for cash or a cash equivalent.

You can cancel your Stock order for a full refund before it is delivered or picked up.

If you buy furniture, a rug, or a rug pad from Stock and aren’t happy with it when you get it, you must contact them within 7 days of delivery or pickup to set up a return. The item must be returned within 30 days of when it was delivered or picked up.

Additional Colors and Frames, Custom Furniture, Custom Rugs and Personalization

Because these special-order items are made just for you, we can’t take returns or exchanges on them.

You can buy more colors and frames in stores and online, as well as custom fabrics and some leg finish and cushion options. For all custom fabric, finish, cushion, and detail options, you’ll need to go to a store (prices vary based on selection).

For all Additional Colors, Additional Frames, and Custom order items, they need a 50% deposit. Before delivery can be set up, the balance must be paid in full (or the pickup of eligible items).

After placing them, you have 48 hours to change or cancel your order for Additional Color, Additional Frame, or Custom items.

After 48 hours, you can’t get your 50% deposit back. The 48-hour time limit starts when you place your order in a store or online and confirm the fabric you want.

For orders canceled within 48 hours for Additional Color, Additional Frame, and Custom, the correct exchange, credit, or refund will be given, and any taxes due will be refunded according to state law.

Refunds will be given in the original form of payment. In-store cash refunds are limited to $100, and the rest will be sent to you by mail as a check.

For orders with personalization, the full purchase price must be paid at the time of purchase. Personalized items can’t be returned, exchanged, or canceled at any time, and they can’t be refunded either.

If an item with an “Additional Color,” “Additional Frame,” “Custom,” or “Personalization” comes with a manufacturing flaw or damage from shipping, they will fix or replace the flaw or damage. All samples from the store floor are sold “as is.” When you buy something, you have to pay for it in full.
